There’s something magical about a lotus symbol of beauty, strength, and peace. And now, with just a few folds and snips, you can bring one to life right at your craft table. Whether it's for a Diwali diya stand, classroom project, or festive decor this easy craft is a favorite!
Start by cutting out six to eight identical circles (7–10 cm diameter) from pink paper using Munix scissors. Then fold each circle in half, then in half again, to make petal bases.
Use your scissors to trim the top edges of folded pieces into a rounded or pointed petal shape. When unfolded, you’ll get beautiful 3D petals!
Start gluing petals in a circular pattern slightly overlapping them like a real lotus. Add a second layer in between the gaps of the first to give it a fuller, realistic look.
Cut green circles slightly larger than petals. Fold and trim them into leaf shapes and stick them beneath the flower to complete the base.
Roll a small yellow strip into a coil and stick it in the center to mimic the stamen. Add a touch of glitter for extra sparkle!
Use thicker pastel paper for sturdier petals. And with Munix scissors, even young crafters can achieve clean, safe, and beautiful results every time.
Because when every petal needs to be perfect precision matters. With ergonomic handles and super-sharp blades, Munix makes your creativity bloom effortlessly.
